NEW AREA AND NEW COMPANION!

Image
Hey everybody! Sorry it has been a while. It feels like I haven't written a letter in such a long time. It's been about 2 and a half weeks- ish and so much has happened! So I finally got transferred out of Marquez! Marquez had some amazing members that I loved dearly and I will miss them a lot, and a lot of good, funny, and special memories were made in Marquez. For new years we ate with some members, then we didn't do a whole lot at night, though we did watch a lot of fireworks and listen to a bunch of fun music (thank you neighbors). A missionary also finished his mission in Marquez, Elder Cruz. Although he wasn't my comp, he still lived in our house so I can technically say I "killed him" haha. He gave me a cool Mexican tie and a big keyboard as gifts to me, which was very kind, although I'm not quite sure what to do with the keyboard because it's broken and doesn't turn on. But I'll see what I can do with it. Transfers came and I said go...

Be Astonishing!

His grandpa is going to baptize him, and we're planning the baptism to be on November 13, which should be awesome! I'm also going to play the piano for the baptism, which will be fun. Just yesterday, our mission had the amazing opportunity to hear from the apostle Elder Jeffrey R Holland! He spoke to us through Zoom, and he gave us some ama...
