Hey Everyone- (S1 E13) How's it going?  I know it's been forever since I've written.  So this might be a catch up email.  A lot has happened in the last two weeks.  I had my last week with Elder Sierra.  We actually worked a little more in his last week which is what I have been wanting to do for the past two months.  He apologized about not being a good trainer to me and we had a good talk about it so it's all good.   We continue to teach through calling people who find us through social media.  Most are just curious from videos the church puts out but there are some who let us teach them.  It's over the phone though which is still hard.  We also got to do a service project last week which was really fun but super hard!  Hermano Gonzales needed us to help put up cement posts for a fence they were building and each post was around 500 pounds!  We had to place the posts in this swampy area and it was really, really har...

The Home Stretch Starts . . .

July 28, 2022  The home stretch starts . . . Hey fam and friends! It's been a while! I've had some really interesting experiences this past week with our investigators and seeing the Lord's hand in His work. We received a new mission president!!! President Stapley and his wife are amazing and I'm looking forward to having a great time working with them. I found out they know my aunt and uncle because they live in California. I'm gonna have to catch up on some other stuff too since the last time I wrote. I got a new backpack, but I still haven't gotten any scriptures as I have no way of getting new ones, nor do I know how to get any. But I should be getting some new ones from the offices soon. On the 4th of July, we went to Guanajuato capital again! It was like I was on vacation and we were all tourists haha. I only have 6 months left!!! I hit 18 months on August 2. Life in Irapuato

Hey Everyone, Honestly I've been super busy and I am sorry for not writing many emails, but I feel happy inside knowing that I get to experience all the things that I'm experiencing out here in the field, right in the heart of Mexico. There are so many things that happen, I can't take pictures of it all. I just take it in. However, I do have some pictures and that's mostly what I'll be sharing today. We got to have a conference with Elder Ochoa of the Seventy. He and his wife gave amazing talks and we felt the spirit there really strongly. My comp and I went on some adventures last pday. We slept on the roof one day and then watched the sunrise, it was a little cold but beautiful. I've always wanted to go to this big crater in our area, so we finally did. After that, we decided to hike another one and hiked to the top of a small mountain. It was like the most fun thing I've done in months.
